Yes, it works! I had dental work this morning and spent the rest of the day alternating between sleeping and lying around in pain. No fun.
But, a friend and I had a dinner and tangle date. I almost cancelled, but she made lasagna...
I forced myself to tangle and was amazed that I really did completely forget my sore jaw!
Here is my therapy/Diva challenge.
I have had the calming affect of doing zentangle. I have had some severe pain and when I start to tangle for awhile I notice that I have some pain relief.
ReplyDeleteI've been told about this effect, but it is the first time I have experienced it myself. I'm glad it helps you, too.
DeleteAnd again we find out the wonderful gift of Zentangle; helping us to calm down and at the same time making something beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe can never thank Maria and Rick enough for that.

Beautifully said, Annemarie.
DeleteJust right for getting your teeth into.....sorry!
ReplyDeleteHahaha--love Shelly's comment! Tangle therapy is simply the best and I love your tile. Hope you're feeling better today!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I am feeling better today.
DeleteLove the way you have bordered your tile:)
ReplyDeleteThanks. A good friend suggested that. I love sharing tangling energy with others.
DeleteIt does help to focus one against pain. I am happy it worked for you. I wish I could see your piece more closely but it sure has an appealing design!
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know it wasn't very clear. I posted from my iPhone and it looked good on my tiny screen :-) You can see it here
DeleteLove your tile! The border really makes it stand out.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely tile with a great border. Glad that doing it helped relieve you of your distress.
ReplyDeleteExcellent tangling!!
ReplyDeleteLike the new page and the tile! Hope the mouth is feeling better too xx
DeleteI like your peaknuckle and the fact that you left some open airy spaces. It shows off your tangles very nicely.
