Enough

I know you've all had THOSE kind of days.  Let's just say that today could have been better.  As I was trudging through the day, I had a lot of waiting time, so I tangled.

I had traced my "apple corer" to make a mandala last month, but today, I finally worked on it.  When I got back to my e-mail, I had 3 different people who had sent me encouragement.  How did they know?

I case any of you are feeling down, I wanted to share some of these encouraging words.

The first is from Ollin Morales of {Courage 2 Create}. He has a wonderfully inspiring and insightful blog for writers and aspiring writers like me.  He writes, "please know that you are exactly where you are supposed to be; and today, instead of striving for achievement, I would like you to plant yourself at your writing desk and imagine that you are a great oak tree, rising from the ground. As you rise, I want you to become aware of the fact that you are already beautiful, already perfect, and already complete.

Notice that in that moment, being yourself brings you peace, joy, and fulfillment." If you are not a writer, plant yourself in front of your Zentangle and BE.

The second is from an online Homeschooling Helper® newsletter (April 7, 2011). Melyssan Williams writes: "You are the perfect homeschooling family, wonderfully flawed and ever cracked on the surfaces, but perfect nonetheless."  You can read the rest on my other blog, Violet Schoolhouse.

Finally, I received this chain email from my niece.  It, too, is so beautiful, I wanted to share.
I pray you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear. I pray you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.I pray you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.I pray you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.I pray you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.I pray you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.I pray you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.
I looked it up and found it on EdwardConti.com.

My friends, whether you are suffering disappointments or are having a great day, I pray you enough.
