Puzzle Fun at Co-Op

For the last 7 weeks, I've been teaching Zentangle to half a dozen tweens at our homeschool co-op. They are a delightful group of kids. Class is always fun and I love their work. I think I am learning as much as they are. I've been sadly lax in posting class pictures, but not this week!

Here's what we did.  Everyone drew a string on their Darice Color Your Own Puzzle . Then they broke it into pieces and passed out the pieces to their classmates. Everyone tangled and then returned the pieces to their owners.

Because there was no unifying pattern on the front (tangled) part, I had labeled the pieces on the back. They had to put their puzzle together upside down and then flip it over to see the results. What anticipation! The results were amazing. It was so much fun, I need to do this at an adult class!
