Check out this amazing cake Birdie made for a friend's mom. Her dad helped build the support structure, but she did a fair amount of engineering herself. What a piece of work!
Technically, only the bridge is edible, but she carved the rest out of styrofoam and covered it with fondant. It is a family project since I painted the bottom. Any Trekkies reading my blog?
