One Zentangle a Day - Day 22: Use Tagh and Tat - study color

The volume of mail I'm receiving from this club is getting smaller, but I'll keep it up as long as others want to.  I was pleasantly surprised by today's tangles. I never had much use for tag h, but I liked it today. I've done scads of color wheels, so I also skipped that part of the assignment.

Day22

From Angela Werner:

Well, here goes some color your way but I think I'll stick with just black pen going forward for a couple of reasons: 1) I do know lots about color and 2) I chose to study Zentangle and practice it because it's simple and with just a pen and a pencil there is so much you can do... (The elegance of limits!) Also, I think I'll just have time to complete Chapter 4 with you as I'll be leaving on vacation to Portugal in a week and a half!

Lesson 22079

From Danette Pratt:

Here is OZAD-22 tile for Tuesday 3/5/13 on Watercolors.  I used String #012 by Barbara Finwall.  It's interesting because I didn't even think about it til afterwards, that I used a geometric string for such organic tangles patterns...maybe that's why I'm not so happy with it ;-)  But I did enjoy working on it!

Day 22 OZAD

I'd be happy with it.  I like the triangles and I love the dark orbs.  With their highlights, they remind me of buckeyes :-)

I received Sharon's day 21 last night, but I'm expecting one from another new player (Sonya - this is you) and I will post them both together.

Looking forward to tomorrow's assignment and hearing from Ellen again.

    1. Hi Martha,
We do seem to be slowing down, but I will keep it up as long as the others do. I can't guarantee things will be posted on time, as you may have noticed...

You can still share your work. If I put the Mr. Linkey back up, would you have a blog to link to? If not, you can mail it to me and I'll add it to the regular posts. Just send to Tangled Up In Art at G mail dot com.

    2. My blog is more about quilting than zentangle. I'm pretty far behind, but if you need material, I could email you something. My tiles are no where near as good as the ones you have been posting, though.

  2. I really had a problem with the color wheel exercise... not in how to do it (I've done so many), but in how it was so briefly presented. Here is my post, and the day 22 tangle: http://crafthatchery.wordpress.com/2013/04/28/a-color-theory-lesson-and-a-gray-tile/

Continuing on, one step and stroke at a time, many steps and strokes behind the group!
